Wow! This sofa is better than expected! It’s much larger in person. I ordered it specifically because it had deep seeds and a tall back. We have a very tall family, and I thought that this would be a good fit for us. I was correct. The cushions are very thick and the fabric is soft and of good quality. As far as the delivery, a giant box was carried into the house, not opened, no assistance with that. It took two people to open it and the sofa was more than a dozen pieces. It literally had to be built. There was no explanation about that. You would assume that it would be the sofa, ottoman and cushions, but OH NO, it was the legs, the arms the back, the seat. NOTHING was put together. It's a good thing I like the finished product or between the delay in receiving it and being in a dozen pieces I would give this negative stars. I've had this chaise/sectional going on two years now. For the most part, it has held up pretty well and looks good in my apartment. However, the MAJOR issue I have with the product is it's advertised as being faux leather. But when it arrived, the material was definitely not faux leather--but more like a faux suede. I specifically wanted a leather-like material because suede material is more delicate than leather and requires a lot to keep clean, especially during times of high use. That said, I decided to keep it anyway, because it does look good and I didn't feel like going through the process to send it back. It is easy to clean, though, when there is a spill or dirt gets on it. Spills and dirt do come out completely without leaving a stain. I use a rag and fabric cleaner. But the caveat to consider is I'm rather religious about cleaning it as soon as any spills and whatnot get on it. Plus, I don't have any kids or pets. I received this sofa yesterday and so far, absolutely love it! The fabric looks very durable and well made, and although a touch lighter than expected, I think it will hold up just fine. I only have a few small notes just based on my personal preference. I wish the ottoman had a way of attaching to become an actual sectional, and it sits just slightly lower than I would like.
