This is a pretty little fountain, the colors are more vibrant than I expected, which I love. The designs are very pretty and it seems well made. It is also a small fountain, more for like a desk than say an entry way. The only real issue I have with it is that the pump is louder than the water trickling sounds. The water flow is extremely quiet and almost inaudible, which defeats the purpose of having a fountain. It is pretty, but there is a light that pokes through the hole to give the illumination. It is a little challenging to put together. I thought the light was built in.. Lisa. KS. Fri May 15 2026

Bells have been used throughout the ages to accompany dance, to provide comfort, and to warn of possible danger. The Chinese were the first to control the pitch or note of a bell, making it possible for them to play tunes. Soon bells were being used to accompany worship. On New Year's Eve, the bells in Buddhist temples are rung 108 times, once for each of the 108 worldly desires. In the East bells have become very important and are often decorated with significant symbols. For centuries, tuned bells have been suspended in homes and temples to ward off evil and attract good luck and prosperity. These ancient bells inspire Woodstock Temple Bells and work harmoniously with the wind to create gentle, soothing tones. In 1979, Grammy(R) Award-winning musician and instrument designer Garry Kvistad created the first Woodstock Chime from an aluminum lawn chair he found in a landfill. Fascinated by the Scale of Olympos, a 7th-century pentatonic scale that can’t be played on a modern piano, Garry cut and tuned the lawn chair tubes to the exact frequency of the ancient scale. The Chimes of Olympos was the first of Woodstock Chimes Wind Chimes and is still one of our best-selling, musically-tuned windchimes. Garry and his wife Diane founded Woodstock Chimes in 1979 and remain based in New York’s Hudson Valley.
