Overall, I absolutely love this desk! It did arrive with a few minor issues that Wayfair rectified. This is a solid piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend paying for the delivery and setup. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. That is the only reason for the four stars.. Taji. Nanuet, NY. Fri Jun 19 2026

Industrial and stylish appearance fits well with any decor and creates a harmonious living working environment for you.

Looks great! It’s very sturdy. The black looks really nice. Took my husband two hours to put together but he wasn’t rushing. The drawers open smoothly but they do make slight sound as it sort of scrapes along the metal. The drawers don’t have stoppers so COULD fall on toes BUT they’re so deep that I can’t imagine that happening. We do plan to remedy that in some way because it for our 7yo son, but not necessary for older kids or adults. chair opening is very large which makes it nice for widercrossed-legged chairs. Awesome way to incorporate some shelves and we LOVE that it combines as a bedside table for him. He absolutely loves it.. Sachin. Thu Aug 27 2026

Farmhouse Computer Desk with Hutch and 3 Drawers, 47.2" Executive Office Desk with Storage Drawers, Wood Desk with Power Outlet for Home Office

Look nice when fully assembled. I was able to assemble it by myself but will be faster if you have 2nd hand to help you to assemble it. I wish manufacturer were able to minimized the part to be assembled like if some small pieces were already attach or fixed to its location so it will lessen the time for assembly. It took me 4 hours. You need to be very careful on tightening screws because the engineered wood get easily crack. And of coarse since it is engineered wood, expect this will be heavy and on a reasonable price.. Perfect desk for a young student. Plenty of space for a laptop or tablet with space to spare. Great for homework or studying. The drawers are perfect for storing all of a students study materials. The instructions had a mistake with pieces 3 and 4. The pictures didnt match the pieces, but was easy to figure out. Also, pieces H and I have no instructions for their purpose. I assume they are for the adjustable brackets on the middle back piece to secure to a wall. This will be a great desk for my son to do his schoolwork and other activities.. Staci. Memphis, TN. Great desk for a 9 year old. The drawers are fabric, the top one doesn't go in all the way because of the bar in the back. The two sections are held together with 2 wood pegs and isn't very sturdy and leaves a small gap. Our fabric drawers came really dirty. It was easy to put together and works as a nice first desk..
