Great filing cabinet. The first shipment was damaged. Wayfair was great to replace it but shipping the damaged one back was a bit of a pain. It’s only off one star as it’s not super heavy duty but it does the job!. Amie. Mon Sep 14 2026

It was fairly easy to put together if you follow the directions and put it together slowly it goes together great! It only took one person to put it together. I feel like it’s made with quality materials and really like the shelf for my monitors since I have 2 of them and they fit perfectly. Great file cabinet; perfect for my new retirement home office. I finally retired and moved into a vacant family cottage only partially furnished. I happily left behind old and outdated metal cabinet and mostly metal desk; looked forward to new upgrades. I know it will sound like hype, but I've learned the hard way. I buy lots of stuff online and when it comes to knocked down furniture I have to assemble, I bypass my prime options and go with Wayfair. This wood decorative two-drawer file cabinet is a perfect example. It arrived fast (actually a day early). Package and contents free of any damage, dings, dents or scratches. Assembly took a bit of time, but worth it. Instructions say two people; was just me, didn't rush. One small flaw was the final step. Task involved inserting the finished drawers into cabinet frame and screwing in last of two small machine screws, one each side of each drawer (to secure metal glides). Three went in with multiple tries to align screw with threaded hole in glide. The fourth wouldn't go; I opted to improvise with a small wood screw left over from additional spare bits that came with this cabinet (another reason why I go with Wayfair). A matching L-shaped desk is due today; can't wait.. Daniel. Sandwich, MA. Thu Oct 22 2026

My husband chose this desk for his office. We ordered the walnut because he wanted a darker wood finish. It was easy to assemble, but it did take some time. The drawer operation is smooth. The colors are deep and it’s very attractive. Shipping was fast and easy.. Angelia. TX. Sun Aug 30 2026

Love this file cabinet! It’s stable and sturdy. Not the easiest to assemble, though. If I hadn’t had experience with some of the hardware, I wouldn’t have known what to do. Also had no idea the side rails had to be taken apart for installation - thanks to YouTube for showing me that one. Overall, a quality product but could benefit from better assembly instructions..
