This is a nice little fan. Works great and has a low hum to it which at first I thought would keep me from sleeping but it really lulls you to calmness. We have a "Florida basement" storage room in our modern organic coastal home that needed a light. This was perfect, nice (not cheap) quality and a little fun. This is perfect for us because I sometimes hang wet clothes on a drying rack or do some ironing in the center of the room.
