Give the keyboard and monitor room to sit at different working heights. The Uncaged Ergonomics KT2 uses an extended arm to create a larger height range than a basic keyboard drawer, helping place the monitor higher and the keyboard closer to elbow height for sitting or standing. The tray adjusts from approximately 10 inches below to approximately 8 inches above desk height. On a standing desk, use the additional drop to create more separation between the keyboard and screen. On a fixed-height desk, raise the tray above the desktop for occasional standing work. Maximum above-desk height depends on desktop thickness and tray angle. Fine-tune the keyboard panel with -15° to +15° tilt, left/right swivel, and slide-out movement. The separate mouse platform can be installed on either side, adjusted closer to or farther from the keyboard, and tilted independently for a level mousing surface. The steel frame and compact-board panel support up to 10 pounds. The rail screw-mounts beneath desktops more than 0.5 inch thick, and the included KT Bridge helps clear compatible standing-desk crossbars. Measure approximately 19.5 inches of rail space and 4.25 inches of under-desk clearance before installation. Hardware and instructions are included; tools are not included.

The keyboard tray can be easily attached to desks in the Essential Series and most other desks. Tray slides under the desk and out so you can type comfortably in your work area. The tray features a durable, melamine laminate surface.

Your desk was designed as a work surface - not necessarily as the ideal place to type. When the keyboard and mouse sit too high, too far forward or too far apart, your wrists, shoulders and arms have to adapt to the furniture. KT1 changes that relationship by moving your keyboard and mouse off the desktop and into a position that better fits you. Unlike a basic pull-out keyboard drawer, KT1 is designed for positioning, not just storage. Raise or lower the tray, choose a neutral or negative typing angle, use the unrestricted 360° swivel mechanism, pull the keyboard closer or slide the entire setup beneath the desk. Usable swivel rotation depends on nearby desk structures and available clearance. The mouse platform is a core ergonomic feature, not an afterthought. It mounts on the left or right, moves closer to or farther from the keyboard and tilts independently. The overall width adjusts from 25.5" to 27.5", helping different users keep the mouse within a more natural reach. The rigid platform measures 7" W x 8.75" D, and a foam mouse pad is included. KT1 is built with commercial-grade steel and a phenolic composite keyboard surface. The 18.5" W x 8.75" D keyboard panel supports full-size everyday setups up to 11 lb. The 16" mounting rail installs beneath the desktop with included steel screws and hardware. Every unit also includes KT Bridge, which helps the rail clear crossbars found on many electric standing desks. Before purchasing, check that your desk has a mountable underside surface, at least 1/2" desktop thickness and approximately 4" of clear underside space. Installation typically takes about 20 minutes with a drill or screwdriver. KT1 is backed by a 1-year warranty.

Really easy to put together. Very sturdy and improves the ergonomics of my desk. Super heavy though and a little clunky.. Allysha. Lawrence, MA. Thu Mar 10 2022

The keyboard stand is useful anywhere you stand and type. For example a cash register, counter, warehouse, or an office setting. It has a wide variety of heights that can be attained by using the gravity pull lever. The transition from sitting to stand is fast and efficient. The ability to adjust the height with 7 height range options of the keyboard tray supports your posture and comfort. Minimize shoulder, neck, back, wrist, and elbow pain by finding the optimal keyboard tray height for you. Variability in keyboard positioning is available, such as negative tilt or a neutral option, to enhance comfort while typing. However, the mouse pad will always remain level to protect it from falling. The mouse pad can be connected via tongue and groove either on the left or right side of the keyboard to accommodate any handedness. The lightweight keyboard tray is easily portable for your convenience and folds down completely flat.

The keyboard tray has vertical height adjustment so you can quickly raise the keyboard tray from a sitting to a standing position to match the height that you might raise your monitor to use the sit-stand on your tabletop. The keyboard platform slides back underneath your desk so it's completely out of the way.
