Machine wash in cold water, gentle cycle. Do not use bleach. Tumble dry low, remove promptly. Warm iron as needed. When covering dark or patterned furniture with a light-colored slipcover, you may notice hints of the underlying color showing through the fabric. We recommend placing a white or light-colored sheet on top of your furniture and under the slipcover to help block any translucence.

This cover gets the job done. Easy to wash, and easy to fit on. Fabric is fairly tightly woven, though if you have a bold-patterned chair as I do, you'll probably still be able to detect the color changes beneath the cover if you look closely.
