We absolutely love this little buttered dish. The pattern is cute and looks Italian and we love that it comes with the little decorated butter knife as well. This is large enough that you can put the bigger blocks of butter in it instead of just small butter sticks. I debated between giving it four versus five stars only because of the price seeming a little bit high, but it is very well-made and attractive and it is so handy to have a butter dish like this so we’re very happy with our purchase. Had looked for a reasonably priced butter dish that was cobalt blue. Found one similar to this one at another store, but was more expensive. Liked the look of the speckled blue in the plate. However, when I received it, it is not very speckled - hard to notice and the cover is slightly lopsided so does not sit snugly on the plate. The plate also is very large.
