I am very happy with the towel bar, which was delivered today. Since I am a designer, I am constantly shopping for items for other people‘s homes. This town bar will be placed in a 1903 estate Home, a home on the historic register. The simple design of these Tile bars helps to bridge the time between the then and the now. The finish on the bars is exquisite. The design is classic and will last and be in place for another hundred years. I am very happy with the purchase. The owners will be very happy with the outcome. This towel bar has a much better hanging system than the first one. I had to replace the first one because it came out of the box stripped. Could not get the set screw to secure the bar. I could not find my paperwork on it so I just ordered another one. The carpenter installed this one and said it was much better. But, the set screws in this one are chrome, while the escutcheon is matte black!!! As I sit in the tub I can see them! I had the same issue with the Kingston faucets and I had called them and they said they don't have black set screws. I had to buy them myself. However, the first towel bars and the toilet paper holder and the ring towel holders all have black set screws. Not good for the price you pay for "Kingston Quality",. Anonymous. Round Rock, TX. I needed a little extra room for a 1/2 guest bathroom pedestal sink. I found the Delta Cassidy matching Glass Shelf with towel bar. The product information sheet showed that I did not need to install the towel bar. The glass shelf is the perfect size for decorative paper hand towels which are more sanitary than multiple use cloth towels when entertaining guests. The towel bars themselves are very sturdy and well made. I've deducted a star for two reasons: 1) the mounting template covers 18" and 24" inch towel bars, but not the 32.5" ones 2) the hex wrench included with the mounting kit is not the correct size, it is too small.
