This set looks great out of the packaging. While the use of plastic for most of these pieces feels cheap, it's standard with almost all brands at this price point. I purchased this Conway tub/shower fixture to go with the sink faucet. I didn't install it right away, and upon recent inspection found that the shower head and the handle backplate are plastic. I'm keeping it because its the only option that matches the faucet. Maybe I missed something in the description, but would have preferred all metal fixtures. This is a gorgeous shower and tub set. Gold finish was incredibly luxe and beautiful and it matches my Stryker sink faucet set. And I did buy the universal valve as the sight says. But, I have a Symmons water valve mixing and my experienced plumber could not install. Before you purchase- identify your valve system first and then talk to your dedicated plumber to be sure this will be easy to convert and install. Or will they have to do a major parts change outs or rework your water system. The huge disappointment, especially since we had already installed the vanity set- I am still feeling very misled by the description, confused why it didn’t work, and very frustrated because I had to settle on brushed brass.
