The pause setting gives you ample space for shaving, lathering, and other shower tasks, then easily restart the water with the temperature where you left off. This spray setting helps you conserve water, so you can worry less about depleting your supply of hot water - and you help the environment too. This is a good shower tub combo. I’ve looked at and touched so many faucets for my bathroom renovation but so many of them just felt like cheap plastic this does not. If you are doing a complete renovation you will most like need a value body which is not included. I found this out when the contractor went to install it which delayed my project a few days..
