It's four stars because some of it is plastic. This unit is not all metal but it still functions and works really well. One important thing to note is that the handheld wand is activated by a manual lever behind the shower head. Right out of the box I was impressed with this Handheld shower head. I ordered the polished nickel and it is beautiful. The design is sleek and minimal, which is what I was going for. I can’t explain how great this shower head is. It has a comfort feature that doesn’t allow the water to get too hot when the toilet flushes. The handheld piece is easy to put back in its place. Timeless design for today's homes.

This is a VERY HARD TO FIND, "Old School" shower faucet. First, it is 2.5 GPM which I want; second, the slide bar is affixed to the wall firmly; third, the shower head holder is not a flimsy one and it (the entire shower head holder slides along the bar and with a flick of one part of the holder, it becomes firmly held in place). This means that users can easily adjust the position for each person's preferred location for a fixed shower spray or as a handheld unit.
