Ive never installed a faucet before, and some life stuff occured that inevitable delayed my enthusiasm to put this together. Life happens, but you gotta keep moving forward regardless. ANYways, some friends came over and this ended up being a little project to work on together. It turned out way better than expected. The box comes with instructions, which we followed with a few hiccups inbetween. Parts felt solid/durable, with a decent weight to the heftier components. I am disappointed. This high end fixture comes with a cheap, flimsy plastic Lift Rod and Finial - the part that is used to engage and disengage the stopper. It broke in two upon the first use. Now I must see how Wayfair/Delta addresses this issue. Wayfair came through. They are shipping an entirely new faucet to do with as I please. This faucet has been installed in my kitchen for about a month. I love how sleek and attractive it is, but the real star here is performance. Until you’ve had a faucet that responds to your touch without pulling any handles or levers, you won’t know how much you need this convenience. Needed a unique bend for the faucet during remodel (it is an a-frame) but needed full functionality of a sink. I would have taken whatever was able to fit but this was a pleasant surprise.
