It is made of the highest quality stainless steel (SS304), much better than zinc, aluminum, SS201, or brass. As it is made of Stainless Steel SS304 it will absolutely not rust. This towel rack is a solid, one-piece unit. The rack screws directly into the wall, either into a wood stud behind the drywall or utilizing dry-wall screw anchors (included). This will ensure it will not fall down and will hold maximum weight - there are no brackets, bases, or small tightening screws, the rack attaches directly to the wall. The screw heads are concealed using screw caps for maximum beauty. The screw locations are 24" apart (center base to center base).

With this towel warmer’s polished finish and crisp, strong lines, the Metropolitan makes an immediate visual impact in any room. With two groups of five heated bars, this towel warmer has more than enough room to accommodate two large towels (or a bathrobe) to warm or dry them in between uses. The Metropolitan is made from durable stainless steel with a highly polished finish that is both attractive and easy to clean. The Metropolitan is also dual connection, meaning it can be used “as is” to plug into a standard 120 VAC outlet or it can be modified by a licensed electrician to have a hardwired 120 VAC electrical connection. When the Metropolitan is installed with a hardwired electrical connection, its unique design means there is no unattractive and cumbersome cover plate required. Additionally, this towel warmer is extremely safe and is cETLus listed. The Metropolitan comes with an LED power switch and TempSmart overheat protection to prevent the unit’s surface temperature from exceeding 176F (80C). Optional towel warmer controls sold separately.

We had a friend tell us to make sure we put a towel warmer in! So glad we did! The square shape matched all our Square accessories! This particular one can be hot wired or plugged in. So mine just plugs into the wall! You do have to turn it on and off. And it usually take a minute to get warm… (it doesn’t have an emergency to hot turn off in it) so we are going to look for some kind of timer maybe to leave it plugged into. But we do enjoy it!. Amanda. Shelbyville, TN. Tue May 16 2023

Nice towel bar! Inadequate hardware if your framer did not put blocking in for towel bars or hand rails when the room was originally framed. If going into drywall do yourself a favor and head to the hardware store for molly toggle bolts. I tried to use the included drywall anchors but snapped one screw tightening by hand after the plastic part of the first anchor broke before it was close to tight. Pulled both out and used toggle bolts i had on hand.. Anonymous. Fri Sep 25 2026
