Made of Tritan™ plastic looks like glass until you drop it. And while other clear plastics or stainless products lose their luster after repeated dishwashing — products made with Tritan have looks that last. Tritan from Eastman is a clear plastic that retains its color and gloss even after hundreds of dishwasher cycles.

I have never been a big fan of ordering large appliances online because of the possibility of damage. However the manufacturer went above and beyond with the packaging on this unit. When it comes to wine storage, consistent temperature is everything. So far the temperature holds steady right at the set degree without it fluctuating much. This unit will hold 51 bottles of wine with its 6 wooden shelves that are also removable to accommodate larger bottles if needed. An added bonus is the led blue light that turns on when the door is open and turns off when shut. You also have the option to have it on all the time. Overall for the price it seems to be a winner.. The New World Pinot Noir glass is perfect to support the balance of fragility and fresh compact fruit in light-bodied wines from the New World. Created during several workshops with producers from Oregon, US, the tulip shape and slightly flared lip highlight the irresistible sweetness, whilst perfectly balancing the acidity and deemphasizing the alcohol, to create a perfect picture of the wine. The design is genius! Use as a conventional wine glass or flip it over to be used as candleholders. The only reason I gave this glass 4 starts is because the rim is squared oppose to rounded. Its a preference issue, I dont care for the bluntness of a squared rim. The first order came damaged, but the company was a breeze to work with. They sent a replacement right away.. Jennifer.
