Packaging was good also, very easy to break down and separate out the styrofoam and cardboard as I'm able to recycle both. However, the unit was damaged -- one leg where it curves to form the long "ski" broke clean through. I don't know whether to blame the packaging or the design of the unit (but it is very stout). This is a wonderful bench. I needed something to fit under my window and it is ideal. It is not the most comfortable without adding the lumbar support pillow, and it is more of a place to sit upright than to kick back in. The piece that lifts up so you can access the cavity for storage is very heavy so I don’t actually open it that often.
