Excellent pan. Unlike many other pans this one has the aluminum all the way up the sides rather than just on the bottom. If I were younger, I would buy this whole set. I have the smaller pans, which are lighter, but the larger pans, including this saute pan, are too heavy for my 71-yr. old abilities. Great Skillet-- It's the size we need when making dinner for the whole family. The 3 quart skillet that came with the set we bought a few weeks back was great, just not big enough for the whole family dinner. Love the glass lid instead of metal. This is a great addition and cooks very evenly on slightly lower settings than our old skillet did.
