This tub is very large and deep. The drain is high enough to get completely covered and it is long enough to lay all the way back. The material is some kind of stone so it is very heavy to move and get in place. This also gives it a cool stone feel when you’re in it. The finish on the tub is matte, not shiny like an acrylic or glazed cast tub. It looks like white stone. Wayfair delivered the item in great packaging, crated in a wooden box with plenty of wrapping inside. The tub arrrived with no damage, and was installed without issue. Moving this tub is not for the faint of heart—it weighs in at more than 300 pounds, and it took three grown men to move it—so plan on help to set it in its permanent location. All in all we are very satisfied with this soaking tub. We just wrapped up a full bathroom renovation, and I can honestly say this bathtub ended up being my favorite part of the entire project. The oval shape is absolutely beautiful in person. It feels soft and elegant, and it really elevated the overall look of the space. What surprised me most is how spacious it is. It comfortably fits two adults, which has turned it into a bit of a retreat for us at the end of long days. It’s deep enough to actually soak properly, but still very easy to get in and out of.
