This is the dark gray version of the bed. It was very easy to assemble and everything lined up perfectly. If it didn’t, I’m sure they would’ve been able to replace it without much of an issue. This is for an adjustable bed. We had a regular white farmhouse style wooden king bed with headboard, foot board and side rails. The adjustable bed fit right inside it. No Problem. My husband wanted a new tufted headboard. Now without side rails and a footboard that didn't match we needed a way to attach this new headboard. We for an additional $100 from the bed company you can get compatible hook ups for just a headboard. So, since I did not want to spend an additional $100, I decided we could mount it to the wall instead. $25 for a cabinet/headboard mounting cleat did the trick. So, it worked out. Be aware of this if you want just a headboard for your adjustable bed. The headboard itself is really nice, and the color matches a bench and chairs we have in the room.
