Exactly what I needed, it does come with the brackets but I’m renting so didn’t want to drill holes in the wall so I hung the rod with some temp curtain rod hangers. The rod itself is metal with decorative wood design painted on it. It assembles really easy and the included directions tell you the exact configuration for the size you are trying to achieve.
