Purchased for a busy household where we needed a rug that was very low profile due to mobility issues. We are very pleased with the quality of this mat and the edges will lay flat but the corners required double sided carpet tape at least for the first few weeks. I’m not sure how long the corners would have taken to lie flat had we not used the tape but I imagine not too long especially if you placed a flat heavy object on top of each corner for a few days.. Great product (for the price) and a big improvement over the ancient, crumbling linoleum in my apartment’s kitchen. Easy to trim with just a paring knife and it lays flat as soon as it’s unrolled without curling at the edges.. A couple of scuffs from moving my appliances wiped clean with just a wet paper towel.
