I have 4 of these! They are solid and well built. The paint is kind of a chalky black so I wiped it off and gave it 2 coats of satin spray sealer. The edges are antiquedsanded down to give it some depth although you can’t see that from where they were placed on the front my house. Packaged 2 per box, each wrapped in bubble wrap. I purchased and returned several corbels before I found these to use in my kitchen above my stove. I was eyeing more elaborate ones, but the style did not match the look. Beautiful! I put them in a doorway in my apartment. I mounted them with Command strips. I did have to put a smear of E6000 glue on the spot where the strips went and let that dry first as the edges that go against the wall are a little porous and the strips wouldn’t stick.
