Dazzling Dimensions Wallpaper

The navy wallpaper is beautiful. The texture is sufficiently authentic visually that a cat gave scratching it a try. This was my first wallpapering project, and I was worried about the other reviews that said paste would leave traces -- but it turned out to be a normal modern vinyl wallpaper that cleans up beautifully as long as you wipe the paste off the paper with clean water quickly. I ended up wiping every seam down with a clean damp sponge just in case, right after I put up every strip (keeping 2 buckets -- one with dirty water and one with clean water), and there is no trace of paste left anywhere. One thing that was definitely helpful to get a neat look was to color the paper edges with a crayon in a similarish color. I re-rolled all the strips tightly after cutting them and colored the ends of the resulting roll. This helped avoid visible white lines between strips. The white border showing was fairly noticeable in a place where I double cut the wallpaper and created a new, un-crayoned edge, but that's reasonably easily fixed by coloring with a marker. Apparently that's what the professionals do when working with dark wallpaper ¯\_(ツ)_/¯. Anyway, if you are DIYing, watch youtube videos, and if you are hiring someone, make sure they have experience with dark colored wallpaper if that's what you got. I also found this video showing a contractor cleaning dried paste on a very similar looking paper with Coke but I have no idea whether it works since I did not have any paste spots :D https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SX2oyYEULTc&list=WL&index=21. There is a vertical rippled effect to this durable vinyl version of grasscloth. The simulated strands are extremely fine and in some colors, there is a slight reflective quality that highlights the miniature texture.

A top quality paper; very heavy and quality manufactured. As a professional installer, I would have to say that York products and this paper are one one of the best to purchase and install. One thing to remember about this paper, do not use a cheap light duty adhesive. I would recommend a Roman PRO880 and do not dilute it. It is easy to install and clean. First, apply a thick and uniform layer of adhesive to the wall, and then use a brush or roller to apply the wallpaper to the undried adhesive. Try to avoid brushing too much at once to prevent the adhesive from drying out.

I want to love this wallpaper, but I feel like I wouldn't buy it again, even at the amazingly low price. It has a great texture and I love the colour when it's on the roll. I bought "white" (out of stock now), but when I put it up, the grey metallic strands took over (see photo). This pretty wallpaper mimics the grasscloth, replicating the realistic image of woven fibers. With metallic highlights, it looks like a genuine article. However, it is far more durable than natural fiber.

My first order indicated the wallpaper was textured, which it was not and had to be returned. This order, as indicated, was actually textured. Absolutely love how this is turning out! I still have cosmetic touch ups around the border (adding a frame). But it’s so beautiful! It was easy to install. I had never unsealed wallpaper so I was a bit nervous. I used a wallpaper primer and then wallpaper paste. It smoothed out easily and the seams lined up perfectly. The color is so pretty!!.
