This works very well for the price, and the pop of cobalt blue was exactly what we were looking for. Several sets of houseguests have complimented it. For those reading these reviews, I’m starting to question the intelligence of those that are saying it took 3 people and was a pain, etc. I put this bed together by myself and it took me about 1.5-2 hours! I think some folks just can’t follow directions or read It would have been easier with help as I had to be pretty flexible to hold the spindles while securing the pieces but I was too impatient to wait on my husband. Is a cute bed. Its easy to put together, and I like that the trundle raises to become a queen sized bed. The downside is that the hardware doesnt match the white bed, so ends dont look great. This bed needs to be tucked into a space when both ends are facing a wall, or both ends are covered in stone way. The finials (the globe pieces on the head and foot rests) are also problematic. Once you put them on, do not try to take them off again, or they will just wobble there. There is absolutely no way to tighten them or remove them once they are installed.
