This is a beautiful piece of furniture. Love the sturdiness. It did have one small ding (of course on the front) and the bottom drawer does not want to go completely in. It sticks out just a tiny bit. It isn’t very visible but I notice it every time I open and close that drawer. I am not sending it back just because of these two issues. The drawers are soft-close and can hold quite a bit, however the drawers are not particularly deep. The granite is beautiful and since this chest is so large there is quite a bit of granite surface area. I purchased this for my office but it would look beautiful in a bedroom as well.
