The frame that came with the picture was not like the one you see in the catalog. The frame that came with the picture was more than twice the size of the one that is pictured and very gaudy. Way to overpowering. I wish it was like the one pictured. it made the picture itself look very small and took away from the scene depicted in the picture. It was as if it were all about the frame and not the picture. The finish on the frame was also unlike the one pictured in the catalog. I am in the process of repainting the frame to help it look better and not so overpowering to the picture itself. I am using a combination of blue, black and gold to give it a more Egypt like finish. It is definitely an improvement. If what I received was like what was pictured in the catalog I would have giving a five star rating.. Picture Guy. California. Tue May 11 2021

Venice Beach Collections brings you this infamous mugshot. At age 25 Morrison was arrested for public drunkenness in 1968. As the story goes, stopping off at the Pussycat a’ Go-Go on a trip to Las Vegas with writer Robert Grover, Jim Morrison decided to smoke a cigarette like a joint – and one of the security guards at the club wasn’t having any of it. Morrison reportedly told the guard, “Whyn’t you jump up my ass?” and was met with a billy club to the head. The pair was arrested for public drunkenness and disturbing the peace. Morrison wasn't finished, however, taunting the cops in the parking lot of the club and at the police station. The pair were strip-searched, doused with a boric acid powder and thrown into a cell. Morrison continued to yell profanities at the cops until one of the officers said that he would see Morrison “in private” when he clocked out. Fortunately, Grover’s girlfriend was able to post bail for the duo before that meeting took place.

The sideboard looks really nice with delicate details. However, after receiving it, we found out it stands on three legs and the delivery crew cannot do anything about it. Disappointing! It is an expensive piece and we don’t expect such flaws.. Ping. Potomac, MD. Tue Mar 18 2025
