This is a very nice-looking table. I like the dark color of the wood, I like the shelf underneath, and I like the rounded edges. The wood top is very smooth, too. Unfortunately, there is a little scratch right on the top that is noticeable. This didnt take more than about twenty minutes to put together. If there is something I would change, there are screws right on the legs where the lower shelf attaches. Those screws dont have any covers, and they are in spots on the legs that are clearly visible, so I just stare at flaws. And, this is just an aside I really dont understand why companies put labeling stickers in places where they could be problematic if they dont come off easily. Okay, so this arrived well-packaged and all parts included. And it's heavy! It went together very easily. It seems super strong and should hold up well under any kind of normal wear, including kids rough housing or whatever. It looks nice in our space. The one thing I'm not crazy about, and why I'm only giving it three stars, is how it feels. It's made of manufactured wood and is wrapped in some type of plastic or laminate. It doesn't feel like wood, and if you look closely, it doesn't pass for real wood. That said, the plastic wrapping probably makes it impervious to liquids, so spills and whatever would clean up easily and not damage the finish. The coffee table was well packaged and arrived safely. It's quite a nice table for the price point and assembly was fairly straightforward, and took about an hour. My only small gripe with the table itself is that the legs are just a plain and cheap looking brown that don't match the table. I feel like they could have added a few dollars to the price and included matching legs. one other thing to note, which I show in the photos, is that the instructions indicate to put the white "plastic buckles" in to secure the panel on one side so they are on the outside of the table. What? Honestly, the panel was a snug fit in the slots anyway, so I didn't need/use them. but if you do need them, put them INSIDE the table, behind the drawer. Nobody wants to look at those!. I am editing my review after a couple of days of use and “sitting” with our purchase. Pros, I like the design element and details of the piping along the front and rear of the table. It gives great movement. I like the fact that the table has large storage space and functionality. I like how large the table is. I don’t care that the table itself doesn’t look or feel like real wood. It looks like particle board and has a hollow sound when you tap the top of it. It also wears fingerprints easily so I am going to have to constantly wipe down the table. That is why I gave 45 stars. This is a very beautiful table, and I love the shape and size of it. There was a little hiccup with the first delivery, but as always Wayfair took care of it quickly. The wood legs are very nice. There's some grain to the wood and the color is just perfect as it will blend with lighter woods and darker woods. The glass is thick, and seems sturdy so you can put your feet up on it without worrying about it cracking. The only reason I'll give it a 4 and not a five, and I probably should have known it, but the suction cups look a little bit cheapy. Bought this for living room coffee table, but it looked comically small. Decided to keep it as an accent table in my bedroom. It fits perfectly under the window and my plants seem to like it. One really wierd thing about it is that if the doors are closed on one side, then they are automatically open on the other. It’s is pretty sturdy.
