This is a very nice cabinet. Assembly is the cam and lock style which is very common for furniture. If you've done that before, assembly is easy. If you haven't, just go slow and follow the directions. They are pretty self-explanatory. Assembly can be done by one person, but there are a couple steps where it would be helpful to have a second set of hands. Very nice plant stand for my 3 Season room! Perfect fit in the room corners. Small space on each shelf to hold one or two items. No imperfections found. I was able to put it together by myself. I’m 60, arthritic and have a previous back injury. Slow and steady with breaks got the job done. Don’t over tightened the screws until it is all put together. Love love this corner bookshelf! Got this because I have the matching headboard, and knew it would look fantastic together. Came very well boxed and was decently easy to put together. It can be done alone, but another set of hands would be helpful. I found if a screw ends up where some rattan is, just use a screwdriver to move the rattan out of the way to get the screw through.
