Pleased with my purchase. The queen size bed frame and headboard came in excellent condition. The construction appears solid. Assembly took less than 30 minutes. However, if you arent very familiar with furniture assembly instructions, you may struggle a little as none of the pieces were labeled with the numbers used in the instructions. This is a beautiful canopy bed! The color of the wood (all solid) and construction is exactly what I hoped for based on the listing. There are no exposed screws/hardware (which is hard to come by in canopy beds) and the joints in the top are beautifully executed. Do yourself a favor: make sure you have 2 people for assembly. It will take some time and work but it isn't super challenging. The allen wrench (provided) has an end that will make the hard-to-reach spaces easier, but make sure you have a second one to make the process go by faster. Very easy to put to together. It is a very sturdy bedframe for the price. The “espresso” color is fairly accurate in person vs what you see online in the pictures. The only reason we give this bedframe 4 stars is because one of the posts came damaged as seen in the second picture. Additionally, instructions were pretty straightforward. There was one moment where it isn’t straightforward, as it doesn’t mention there is not a pre drilled hole for a screw for the middle portion of the frame. The bed frame has been pretty sturdy since we put it together, and had no issues putting our premium king sized mattress on it. I was a little worried from reading some reviews, but I am so happy that I took a chance, the wood was all perfect, I had everything I needed. Only labeling this bed 4 stars due to the slats not being manufactured closer together. The slats should be 3 inches apart for the best support according to online resources but are 3.5 inches apart. They did not specify otherwise but that’s ok we just got some plywood to help. However outside of that it’s 5 stars all around, looks just like the photo, beautiful color, feels well built.
