The instructions had a few places that were difficult to understand and parts labeled wrong. I would definitely add some basic verbage to the diagrams to make it more clear. This was perfect for me. Redecorating in Victorian gothic and this worked. Each piece and bag of parts were clearly labeled. I only used my power screwdriver to assemble. I did it by myself. The only frustrating part I ran into was aligning the top piece but with some non lady-like words and a few prayers after, it worked out. One thing that would have been a bit helpful is from one step to the next on the instruction graphics, is if the previous used parts were grayed out. Sometimes I had to stare for a minute to figure out what I did and what was new. The cabinet is sturdy. One thing to note is that it seems to pick up all the fingerprints. I agree with others who said instructions were good but allow TIME to assemble. Sturdier than expected. Very attractive. Wish I could tell the one with the complaints about gap between doors ...
