This chair is a great value. I love the real wood base and the fabric is really nice too (I have the beige linen) The cushions were vacuum packed upon arrival and therefore a bit wrinkled, but I hit them with my hand steamer and that problem was quickly and easily resolved. It was easy to assemble, I did it myself in about 15 minutes. The only negative for me is the screw hole covers. They are plastic which feels cheap for such an otherwise quality piece. I wish they were wood that matched better. Thats why I give it 4 out of 5 stars. My original complaint: I ordered two sets of two chairs for a total of 4 chairs. Just the 4 upper chairs without legs or hardware were in the two boxes. they are useless as delivered! Upon complaining to Wayfair, the rep sent my complaint back to the factory. It turns out that the legs and hardware and an Allen key for each chair were concealed in a zippered compartment under the seat. This took a long time; Wayfair should've known the solution to the problem when I first contacted customer service. I was worried there were no reviews yet, but took a chance. I’ve been looking for a navy blue velvet arm chair that was a mid century modern style, had deep seat, but not too wide for our space (less than 36 inches). The chair is as pictured and also the specs are accurate. However, I should have realized the back is not as high as our old chair but I’ve improvised and added a pillow for me to rest my head. The legs also seem darker than in the pics. It is comfortable to sit in so far and I prefer a firm seat. The back pillow has a zipper so you can take it out to clean or you can change the insert padding and it is reversible. The seat cushion also has a zipper and is removable but you can’t use the other side because it has velcros. Love the deep navy blue color and the soft velvet. This is very comfortable. I curled up in it right away. My teenager decided it was time to take a nap in it as well. The pillows look a little bit twisted in the picture but thats only because I had a hard time getting them in the right spot, its a tight fit. As other customers mentioned , the back pillow is a little bit thinner. It doesnt bother me , but you can always beef it up a little bit if you need to by adding extra filling. I spent a lot of time looking at different armchairs on wayfair and im glad I picked this one , the style and color coordinate well with the rest of my living room. What can I say except, Wayfair you’ve done it again! Time and time again and you never disappoint! I am in the process of switching out all my furniture from my previous home to all white new furniture with gold accents in keeping with the design theme O have done for my new build. I have a small pet and a daughter at home, plus family members who visit from time to time, so, even though my theme is elegance, it was important for it to be LIVABLE and not a museum you can’t touch. Hence, my research led me to white performance fabric. When I tell you this choice did not disappoint, it did not. My daughter’s boyfriend spilled red wine on it on Thanksgiving night at dinner, I didn’t know until the day after Thanksgiving, which reads STAIN in my brand new chairs that were only delivered day or two before Thanksgiving! Boy was Iwrong! A white rag, wet..stony drop of soap on it, few minutes of wiping and I was in AWE!!! Stain was completely gone! You would never know red wine was spilled on it! I AM IN LOVE!.
