I was disappointed that the back is not finished in the same fabric. The back is white and that isn’t mentioned in the description or clear from the photos. I assumed (incorrectly) the photo where you do see white was where sheets and the comforter were folded back. It is almost impossible to not have white showing on the sides when the bed is made. I wanted to like this but in person its a little lighter in the colors and busier in pattern. I figured in the winter a non breathable fabric would be ok and the velvet wouldn't grab onto cat hair. my cat sleeps with me so I have to vacuum my duvet cover every morning.
