We were looking for an all-wood, mid- century modern chair for our kitchen table. These chairs are very sturdy, beautiful and comfortable! They will last for years, and will probably be passed down to children or grandchildren! They assembled easily. (The trick is to not tighten the bolts until all have been inserted halfway in their respected places.) We spend a lot of time around this table, and we feel they will stand the test of time. The chairs required installation and I had a heck of a time getting the plastic (usually wood) dowels into the holes! This is embarrassing to say, but I literally put them in the freezer for awhile and then used a hammer to get them placed in the dowel hole, otherwise I couldn't get them in. Once I figured that out, it went fairly smoothly and for 2 chairs, it took me ~20 min. The color matches my walnut dining table well. They are comfortable and modern.
