The chair is lovely. But it is miss-advertised. I ordered a recliner. It does not recline. It’s supposed to be bigger than the cheaper version but if it’s any bigger, it’s only a half an inch to an inch bigger. Since I got it on a sale, it didn’t cost as much as the full price. I bought this chair for my 91 year-old mother, whose old recliner had worn out. It was easy to put together and fits really nicely in a smaller space. The chair is sturdy and very comfortable, and the upholstery feels like good quality. This would’ve been a five star review if it weren’t for the fact that the recliner lever was damaged on arrival. I have had this recliner for two months. This recliner is perfect. I needed a small recliner for my husband as he goes through cancer treatment. My husband is 6 feet and 180 pounds and this recliner fits him. He states it is comfortable. If you are a “bigger” person or taller than 6 feet, this recliner is NOT for you. The back of the recliner is not as tall as other recliners that are on the market and consequently, resting your head on the back of the chair can be a little difficult. My husband is using a small pillow. The recliner came in two pieces in a very large box. It was packed very tightly and secured in the box and in order to get the chair out of the box, I had to completely tear the box apart. If you get this recliner and do not like it and want to return it, you will need to buy a new box in order to put the recliner in it to ship it back. The recliner itself comes in 2 sections and was very easy to put together. There were roughly 3 to 4 very very minuscule imperfections that a person can only see upon close inspection. I have received a lot of great chairs from Wayfair, and this is one of them. There is nothing like a top grain leather chair well made. This is not an oversized or bulky chair, rather more streamlined and modern looking. Everyone in the family tried it and fit comfortably. The side arms are a nice medium stained solid wood that looks lovely with the black leather. I have it next to a dark grey sofa and it looks great. It is well made, and it took me about 45 minutes to an hour to put it together by myself. It was heavy I suppose because of the push back mechanism underneath it. There was a lot of bolts to secure for the side sections. It was all on a metal panels and difficult to match up the holes. That is what took so much time. Also, it was a tiny area to fit your hand in and turn the screw. It was not hard, but very awkward. Eventually, it all came together nicely. It has this mid century feel, and would look nice anywhere. The cushion is a high density foam and nicely firm. I think it will hold up over time. Love this recliner and foot stool! The color is the perfect shade of grey and the leather type material is so soft. The chair reclines if you lean back with pressure or by turning the knob underneath the seat. The footstool can be used 2 ways by turning it which is lovely when I need to rest my legs with added support. The chair was packaged so nicely. Each piece was wrapped carefully so there was no messy packaging Styrofoam when the box was opened.
