A great modern update for my bedroom that I remodeled to replace the old early 2000s model I had. It’s much more quiet and glides through the air. I keep it set to 6 which is the highest speed. It’s was about 40 minutes to get it assembled and installed. The instruction video made things super easy, but the printed instructions were good too. My only issue is that it does not have memory. So if power gets switched off, it will not save your last setting (including blade direction) and you must use the remote to power it on. Great fan!!! Took away one star because it’s the slightest bit flimsy but it works well. Appreciate that it has a remote and a light, and was mostly easy to install. Great for apartments. The fan works well. I was surprised that the wall switch is powered by batteries rather than being wired in. On top of that, my workman didn't consider the placement of the switch as esthetically as I would have preferred when he cut the hole for it.
