More than anything else, area rugs are art for your floors: they create the mood of your decor, guide the layout of your furniture, and establish a color scheme to follow (or rebel against). A new rug can dramatically change a room – the fun part is picking the one you love! This one, for example, is handcrafted from 90% jute, and 10% cotton, and features a striped pattern, with a 0.35'' pile height, perfect for traditional aesthetics. To clean this piece, we recommend only professional cleaning.

Excellent product softer underfoot than I would have thought, and the warm neutral color and texture add interest without distracting from the other elements in the room. really pulls the room together.. L.m.. Bellmore, NY. Mon Aug 31 2026

Walls aren’t the only places to show off your personality with art. Your floors are craving personality too! That’s when area rugs come in. Whether rolled out at the center of your living room, underneath your dining table, or in your master suite, area rugs act as both a foundation and a focal point. This one, for example, features a nomadic tribal motif, perfect for a contemporary aesthetic. It is hand-made from 100% wool, in natural and ivory colors, is safe on heated floors, and also should be used with a rug pad.

Set a textured stage in your home with this natural and ivory jute area rug. It's handwoven in India from 100% natural jute, and it can be safely rolled out in rooms with floor heating. Its understated design and neutral hue are perfect for boho-inspired homes. Plus, this area rug's medium 0.5" pile height is great for placing at the foot of your bed, in the nursery, and in other rooms with low foot traffic. To keep this rug in one spot, we recommend pairing it with a rug pad to prevent shifting and sliding underfoot.

LOVE this rug! I ordered it in “BROWN” (aka “NaturalGray”) and it’s perfect! My floors are brown with grey tones. The quality is impressive! The thickness, the durability, the size, the detail in the weave… I ordered a thin 13” rug pad to go underneath, but only to protect my floors. The rug is thick enough and soft enough to not need a pad under it. I haven’t walked on it barefoot, but with socks, it feels nice (not scratchy and pokey). I have no constructive criticism. Buy the rug. Just do it. You’ll be happy.. Jess. Fri Sep 18 2026

This hand-woven area rug warms up your hardwood floors and delivers rustic air to your living room. It's handmade from wool and cotton, and it pairs a geometric pattern inspired by Southwestern textiles in a palette of black, brown, and ivory hues. We love how the 0.2" pile height means it provides cushion underfoot but is still easy to vacuum. This area rug boasts a high-low pile mix to better define the pattern. Roll it out with a rug pad underneath to keep it securely in place.

Great color scheme. I just got it so not sure about wear and tear just yet, but so far so good. Shea. Hico, TX. Wed Sep 30 2026

Woven with an intricately braided pattern, the earthy, natural fibers of this 100% jute rug make it one of our favorite ways to layer in the kind of warmth that feels like home. Plus, its durability makes it one of the most functional area rugs for high-traffic areas like the foyer or that sunroom that never seems to be empty. Its frayed tassel edges help keep it in one place but don’t forget to place a rug pad underneath for extra cushioning and traction. Something to consider: When this rug is ready for deep cleaning, be sure to leave it to the professionals.

Traditional with a rustic twist, jute rugs are an easy fit for any ensemble. This one, for instance, offers that woven, rope-like material for a touch of texture that lends contrast to any floor space. A neutral hue keeps this design versatile, meaning it can set foundations in French-inspired living room looks and dining spaces inspired by modern farmhouses. To keep this piece safely in place, you should use a rug pad.
