Overall, I absolutely love this desk! It did arrive with a few minor issues that Wayfair rectified. This is a solid piece of furniture. I would definitely recommend paying for the delivery and setup. The two compartments on the top lift up to open but sadly they do not lock in place to remain open, which could be a little inconvenient but there is a slow close on it so it does not slam closed. **TIP** there is a piece that covers the top so you can possibly sit items up there that is probably some type of mdf board and it probably blends in with the packaging and mine was thrown out, so just be mindful and ask for that piece. I would have loved it had it come with all the cabinet pulls. But the bottom left cabinet is missing the pull and very hard to open, so basically can’t use half of my desk. I can’t find a pull to match and im not buying all new pulls. I’ve written numerous emails asking them to please send me 1 pull! They have promised 3 times it has been shipped and NOTHING showed up. I liked Wayfare and have bought several thing I like, but it is clear the company is not following through. Very disappointed!! I would have loved my new desk with 1 more pull. I received the desk May 15th, I finally received my 1 handle I was missing several days after posting this review. I would change the review from 2 star to a 4 star. I just couldn’t do the 5 because of how much trouble it took to get the handle and how long it took. May 15 to August 2nd. (After Numerous requests to please send it). We replaced a mismatched basic desk and a 6 cube storage with this to give my daughter a bit more functional space for organizing. Her room has a nice long wall so we have it fully extended straight across. It took 3 of us about 2.5hrs to fully assemble, not hard just a lot of pieces with all the drawers. It’s perfectly fine for a typical setup with a monitor, keyboard, and other desk accessories, but I probably wouldn’t overload it.
