The Michelangelo Daybed by Sika Design is an elegant rattan piece that adds luxury to lounging. Inspired by rediscovered design sketches from the 1950s and 1960s, each chaise is handmade by skilled rattan artisans. Unlike bamboo which is hollow, rattan cane is solid which gives it incredible strength and durability. Sourced from sustainably harvested natural rattan, this indoor daybed is a statement piece that brings a beautiful natural element into modern and traditional settings.

This was/is a ridiculous splurge for me but I have no regrets! the pad that goes with it is really nice too...this is VERY low to the ground, so keep that in mind...but once in it, the comfort can not be overly stated! I have it on my desert patio and it's perfect for star gazing, or for resting in the middle of a hot day!. Carol. Falmouth, ME. Wed Sep 23 2026

Love the look of this lounger, and it’s comfortable for lounging. The adjustable back allows me to even store a few items out of sight. I agree that it takes time to assemble, so I broke it up into several sessions, and worked on it with a buddy. It is lower to the ground than I had anticipated, but certainly not a deal breaker just an adjustment. I think based on the price, function, and esthetic made it with it!. Bianca. Falmouth, ME. Playing the part of sofa and bed, daybeds are a fantastic solution for smaller spaces (think: Studio apartments, guest rooms, home offices, etc.). They offer a cozy spot to curl up with a good book or catch a quick catnap, and they provide convenient sleeping arrangements for overnight guests. This one is constructed from an aluminum frame with wicker rattan accents and is designed to stand up to sunshine beating down and rainstorms rolling through - making it ideal for year-round use.

I want to give this 5 stars but it’s the little black dots all over the cushion that took it down. It is coming from the structure. So the material it is built out of is staining the cushions. Otherwise I love this thing! Easy to assemble with one person (took me about 45 min). Very Comfy, Versatile (can attach umbrella, fan, or fun lighting). Makes your space look whimsical and like you are at a resort.. Anne. Saint Louis, MO. Mon Jul 27 2026

Chairs arrived well protected in the boxes. The box said that all tools required were included to put these chairs together, however that was unnecessary because the chairs were FULLY ASSEMBLED! So far they have been used for a few days and are comfortable and seem sturdy. I also want to specify that I chose these chairs because the legs fold completely and the chair folds ( not completely in half but close to it) making them much easier to store for the winter..
