I really wanted to love these chairs as the design was perfect for our space. We would have returned them but the boxes were cut and stacked by my exuberant husband before we had them assembled. Lesson learned! They are very uncomfortable - hard as rocks to sit on, much SMALLER than I thought they would be, and just pretty cheap looking as in the finishing etc. One of the arms had a level resting on it for a short time which was enough to permanently dent the side arm - there is barely any padding anywhere - really disappointed! My take away from this is "do not buy furniture online that needs to be comfortable and sturdy - go to an actual store and sit in the chairs first".
