So, once together is it sturdy and very comfortable. It took me about 2 hours to basically put 6 pieces together -- the directions were not great, but clearly I figured it out. And while it is heavy, I built it where I wanted it so all I had to do was tip it up after everything was attached. The seat depth is great and the cushions are substantial...just like the picture, you do not sink into them as with many of these products.
