Actually turned out perfect! The box that came was huge, I’m a woman that lives alone so I just opened it right there at my door and brought the pieces up the stairs, was actually pretty easy as took the box straight to the trash. I would recommend a friend helping you put it together as I had to get a chair to hold up the pieces while I hooked the other side. Other than that it only took me maybe an hour total from box at the door to sitting on a complete couch! This couch is a keeper. Bought the green, which is definitely has a strong yellow undertone, which is fine. But it's definitely along the lines of pea green color. As several other reviews have mentioned, the assembly while straightforward is a little tricky. The couch arrives in three different boxes. One box has the bench seat which contains the legs and cushions inside the bottom of it. You will need two people minimum to assemble this couch. Once you lineup, the pieces like the arm and the seat you will have to push down, but you won’t see it going in so you have to line it up really well before you start pushing it in. it’s easy to get one side in and then not get the other side in. for the first arm attachment, we stood the seat up on its end, making it easier. with two people it took about 30 minutes to unpack it and assemble it. The legs look OK but they’re just inexpensive plastic so they’re not that beautiful. You might want to replace them with custom legs. Luckily there are lots of places that sell really cool furniture legs if you want something nicer. I think the couch is very comfortable. It has a generous size seat. It is a firmer couch, but the wide arms are really comfy to lean on and it’s comfortable when you stretch out on it. It looks really great. The fabric is nice and the pillows are very high-quality. This sofa was very easy to assemble. It took my husband about 15 minutes to assemble, with no tools needed. I especially chose that sofa for the height from the floor to top of seat cushions. It is easier to sit on and get up if you are an older person. The color is a marbleized deep red and is very neat and attractive. This sofa is probably not one you would want if you have small children bouncing on to the couch, and would not make a comfortable piece of furniture to lay on, but for people to sit on it is very comfy. Extremely happy we made this purchase! The sofa came exactly as described! I was a little concerned about the actual size because of a few reviews but I feel that it’s a very good size in all dimensions. My partner already took a 2 hour nap on the sofa about 2 hours later. There was no strong chemical smell as mentioned in other reviews and the feel of the leather is very nice!
