This is an excellent piece of furniture. It took about 2.5 hours to assemble between two people. It is not difficult to assemble, instructions are clear - it’s just time consuming because it involves very large pieces. So far I’ve moved it from its original install area twice and it moves well, maintaining the integrity of its shape and structure. Only reason why I didn’t give it 5 stars is because of the color. I needed a very unique piece of furniture for my permanent jewelry counter inside my brick and mortar store, and this ended up being a great solution. The glass display top allows me to showcase my chains and supplies while keeping everything organized and visible to clients. It also provides enough workspace for the tools and equipment I use during appointments. I did make a few modifications to better accommodate my specific setup, but overall it has worked very well for my business needs and gives a professional appearance. The one thing to note is that the counter sits a bit lower than I expected which is why I removed a star. There really isn’t enough legroom underneath to comfortably use a traditional chair or stool without your knees hitting the underside of the desk. For our services, we simply position our knees off to the side, which works fine, but if you plan to sit directly in front of it for extended periods, you may want to consider raising the entire unit slightly.
