They truly black out alright!! They’re very long, which is not great for the height of these particular windows.. maybe if i moved them downstairs… I also wish they came in additional colors besides the ones available, because it doesn’t completely complement our decor. I got vanilla color. It looks very yellow when next to true white, and with the light that comes through it looks even more yellow. However it worked in my other room with the grey sofa and off white walls. One set arrived badly wrinkled and with multiple stains. I returned it. Another set arrived in excellent condition. I ordered in grey color, I liked the fabric. It’s soft and not plastic like I got once before. Same on the inside and outside. Not completely blackout but not see through at all. Panel width is the finished width between the first pleat to the last. At least 2X of fabric width are used to make pleats and folds, which are more gathered than other headings and have permanent sewn-in pleats for a more elegant and aesthetic look.

I am obsessed with my new curtains. I was looking for large panel curtains that had a pinch pleat and were machine washable. While these aren't blackout curtains, they look lovely. One thing is that the color pulls kind of pink, but it really depends on the lighting. I will be adding a blackout liner as well.
