And the cord plugs into the front part of the mirror that swivels and so that makes it harder to turn it but if you’re just keeping the mirror in one position or you don’t swivel it to far, you should be fine. I would also like to add that it comes with keys, so you can lock it and it’s a very sturdy lock and the keys are very sturdy too. They’re not just some dollar store type keys. They’re really nice. I also like that it comes with a remote, however, it only works when the mirror is plugged in.
