Panel width is the finished width between the first pleat to the last. At least 2X of fabric width are used to make pleats and folds, which are more gathered than other headings and have permanent sewn-in pleats for a more elegant and aesthetic look.

I highly recommend these curtains! They are a heavier weight and lined. They hang beautifully and filter the sunlight but does not block it. The curtains are hung on a south facing patio door. These curtains look and feel like luxury. They are quite heavy so you can’t get away with not anchoring the curtain rod to the wall (I learned this the hard way). This may be obvious based on the material, but not great if you have cats or pets that can be in close contact, pet fur sticks to them and it’s hard to remove.
