Happy with the induction plate so far. The only thing that is is missing is is an actual temp read out instead of pre programed selection of numbers from 1-9 where the default temp selection is 5. Never had an issue with our pans not getting recognized and the wifi and Chef Connect feature syncs flawlessly with our GE OTR lights and fan. This is a nice feature you normally only find in higher end brands. Overall love the performance! The only negative: The "Precission Cooking" is pretty useless, unless you have a bluetooth probe or niche smart pans which no longer support an app, this feature is useless so don't buy this cooktop if this is something you really want. Used this today for the first time. I never used one before. Takes getting use to but works great. Cooked my sons burgers well. You must center the pan on the unit first, otherwise it will display a u like symbol and turn off. So make sure magnetic pan is on the unit and then power on. Also I love the H it displays when cooling off to let you know the unit is still Hot. I purchased out of laziness. Tired of cleaning the entire stove just to make burgers or whatever...lol. its easier to wipe down the counter and clean the unit. Does not show any signs of heat at the bottom so it is safe to use on countertops. I might just get a silicone mat anyway. Overall I love it and will play with it more.. Keisha. Corona, NY.
