Had to replace the old copper bottom fry pan when the handle broke. That won’t happen to the new one with a full stainless handle. This pain is as close as it gets to perfection! It heats evenly, is scratch-resistant (no plastic or silicone tools required) and is as close to non-stick as any other pan I've tried and I've tried several! It's so much less finicky than my stainless steel or carbon steel pans. Worth every single penny and I'd buy it again in a heartbeat. The size is perfect for things like browning taco meat or large batches of sauce. The high sides mean that my stove top stays clean because nothing is splashing over the edges. This is a good set. I especially like the large skillet with the little helper handle. They do stick slightly, but have been very easy to clean for the most part. I think it was caused by the sauce on the food and maybe cooking a bit too hot. Since every brand of pan is a little different, it takes a few cooking sessions to see how they conduct the heat.. Excellent pan. Unlike many other pans this one has the aluminum all the way up the sides rather than just on the bottom. I purchased the Mepra Non-Stick Frying Pan (MEP1300) from Wayfair a few months ago and Love it. The only problem was it did NOT come with a lid. THIS is the matching lid for that pan. It make the frying pan even better to use and keeps foods warm and cook beautifully. It is beautifully made and cleans easily with no water stains.
