I've wanted a 4 quart pot with this shape vs. a lower, wider one for quite a while. AllClad was what I had my eye on, but I just couldn't justify the price. When I found this Cuisinart pot with the desired shape, at a vastly better price, MADE IN FRANCE, I was thrilled. It wasn't in stock when I ordered it, but was well worth waiting for. What a work of art I thought I was crazy for spending so much money on 1 single pot after opening it I have zero regrets.I did some research before buying and was scared I would get a Chinese copy but as you can see from the photo it has made in Brazil right on the bottom to me that’s a big win. When I took it out of the box I thought forsure it had something in it because it’s extremely heavy for it size and the fit and finish is top notch very pleased with my purchase hopefully this will last me a lifetime much better than replacing 15-20$ pot every few years after the toxic coatings come off in my food..
