Dr. Seuss once wondered: “How did it get so late so soon?” Maybe if he had this cuckoo clock, he would’ve heard the dual chime and would notice the time flying by with the turning of the black spade hands. Thanks to the bird and leaf motif on the front, this piece is perfect for modern or contemporary aesthetics. It is constructed of plastic and accommodates C batteries.

The perfect blend of old meets new, this fantastic clock has an adorable yet simple cuckoo feature with a modern and minimalistic design birdhouse-style surround. Its crisp white color ensures that it will fit in perfectly with any decor scheme and remain a timeless feature within your home. Its compact and sleek design makes a great feature with a big impact! The clock mechanism operates with a 1.5v C LR14 battery and 2 more of the same type of batteries for the cuckoo mechanism. To use the clock without the cuckoo, remove the 2 batteries from the slots where it writes "Cuckoo". Batteries are not included in the box. To frequently ask questions: 1. Is the battery included? No, the battery is not included in this package. 2. How many batteries do I need? You will need 3 x C batteries for the clock to work in full, if you do not wish to have the cuckoo clock sound, you may only put 2 x C batteries. 3. Can I adjust the volume of the sounds? Yes, there is a volume switch to adjust the volume, to completely turn it off you would need to remove the battery. 4. Can I adjust the cuckoo clock singing time? No, it has been manufactured and set to sing from 7 am to 9 pm. The previous version had a 6 am starting time but after some parent feedback, we are now having them from 7 am to suit the kid's wake-up time for school. 5. What sounds will this clock make? Once every hour, the door of the cuckoo clock will be opened, and the bird will be popping out and sing "Kookoo, Kookoo" according to the hour, for example, at 1 o'clock, it will sing once, and at noon, the bird will sing "Kookoo" twelve times. This clock does not have noisy flashing noise like others, purely just "Kookoo''. 6. How do I register for the 2-year warranty? The instruction is full in the package, you may just register your clock online to be for qualified the 2-years warranty.

Two children and their pets revolve on a turntable next to an old man. Two decorative pine cone weights are suspended beneath the clock case by two chains. Every hour the cuckoo bird emerges from a swinging door above the clock dial and counts the hour by cuckooing once per hour. (Example: At one o'clock the bird will cuckoo once. At eight o'clock the bird will cuckoo eight times.). After the cuckoo bird cuckoos one of 12 different melodies will play. 1. Happy Wanderer, 2. Edelweiss, 3. Dr. Zhivago, 4. Swan Lake, 5. He was beautiful (theme song of the movie "Deer Hunter"), 6. Lorelei, 7. Home sweet Home, 8. Sound of Silence, 9. Clementine, 10. The Entertainer (theme song of the movie "Sting"), 11. Love theme of the movie "The Godfather", 12. Fur Elise. This cuckoo clock has music on/off switch, an off switch (for cuckoo and music), and a light sensor that silences the clock when it is dark.
