These are just what I needed! They put together pretty well. I would recommend using wood glue for the pegs that hold the shelves on, just to make it a little sturdier. This bookcase will do the job. It's not quite as sturdy as I would prefer. This is assembled as a bottom and a top (the bottom could be used independently but the top couldn't as is), so the longest pieces of wood aren't the length of the height. The wood is thinner than I would prefer. So altogether, it'll do the job but it doesn't have a very solid feel to it. I like the cubbies instead of just one longer shelf. And I really like the blue color. Other names for this blue could be Colonial Blue, Williamsburg Blue. It has that blue gray feel to it without actually looking blue gray. I guess it's muted. Delivered on time and in good shape. All parts were well labeled and included. Instructions are picture only with no words so make sure that you are paying close attention when putting things together. But it put together easily and love how it looks as an end result.
